On March 28, Alibaba Group's Executive Chairman and CEO, Daniel Zhang, released a company-wide letter titled "Self-transformation is the only way to create the future."   • Establishing a new strategic investment committee: This committee will oversee investments in emerging technologies and support Alibaba's long-term growth.
  • Creating a new talent development system: Alibaba plans to invest heavily in training and development to equip its employees with the skills needed for the digital era.

Further Streamlining:

Alibaba is also streamlining its operations to improve agility and reduce costs. This includes:

  • Reducing management layers: Alibaba plans to simplify its organizational structure and reduce the number of management layers to make decision-making more efficient.
  • Optimizing resource allocation: Alibaba will allocate resources more strategically to support its core businesses and growth areas.
