MirrorProxy is a self-hosted mirror proxy gateway designed to provide reliable dependency downloads in restricted network environments. Instead of manually maintaining multiple mirror configurations across build hosts and workstations, MirrorProxy deploys a single entry point for GitHub, container registries, language package managers, and Linux distributions.
Using an adapter-based architecture and on-demand caching, it serves upstream content without requiring a complete full-disk repository duplicate. When an upstream mirror experiences timeouts or outages, MirrorProxy automatically fails over to secondary endpoints. It features a web management console, user/team quota allocation, IP rules, offline GeoIP reports, Prometheus metrics, and a CLI utility for cross-platform source configuration.
